Fashion Faux Pas

Dear Fine Retailers.

Please STOP with the wrinkle free fabric. It’s ugly, thick, doesn’t feel good and lays terribly on the body. It looks like a really bad version of that Visa By Dacron fabric Barbara Mandrel used to taut in the late 80’s. It's awful..

Even my Alma Mater, Brooks Brothers, has succumbed to the wrinkle free black hole. The selection otherwise was scant. I just dropped close to a house payment at Thomas Pink on 5 normal, cotton, broadcloth dress shirts with a cutaway collar. Who cares if I have to send them out to be dry cleaned, they just look better.

Please know that I will be writing you soon to also discuss the worldwide explosion of the “Slim Fit”.

Best,
JM

Well, just go to Thailand and have them custom make your shirts. It's really rather fabulous!!
