Kia Orana in Rarotonga!

Rarotonga is beautiful and laid back, its also feels like it's 150 degrees with the 350 percent humidity. We' all passed our driving tests, received our licenses and rented some sure fire death-trap scooters to peddle around the island and have avoided killing ourselves (or others) so far. Driving ont he left side of the road while negotiating chickens, cars and pot holes can be challenging at best. The water is crystal clear and choked full of fish and other bite-free ocean life. Thankfully for me the entire island is surrounded by a coral reef that keep the sharks and other unmentionables way out there, so I have no problems enjoying the aquarium-like atmosphere . All-in-all a beyond fantastic spot to unplug from the world and usher in the new year. Miss Polynesia-boom boom 2007 made her farewell performance on our deck last night at 12:01 am, "she" was a little tipsy from champagne so I'm hoping photos of that never make it above the Equator (for 'her' sake).

It's probably going to take 10 minutes for me to upload this post, so I wont even attempt to include any pictures. See Ya'll in Australia.
