Guns Dont Shoot Themselves!

Love this guys protest sign in response to a proposed across the board ban on guns in DC thats landed on the doorstep of the Supreme Court. The justices voted 5 to 4 that a ban on ALL guns in any part of the US goes directly against our constitutional right to bear arms.

The Monday before the decision, the local station had a story of a teenager playing with a hand gun who killed himself. Naturally, they asked the mother what she thought and of course she said guns should not be allowed. My question is did anyone wonder why her teenage son was playing with an illegal hand gun in DC? The only reason why assume it was illegal and no one reported it was a pre-1976 hand gun already registered. My other complaint is why don't you teach kids the proper way to handle a gun. I guess because she was a bad parent, she wants to the government to act a loci parenti for everyone.
