Mingling in Melbourne

It’s hotter than Texas asphalt here in Melbourne but we’ve enjoyed our time here nonetheless. After spending time in Rarotonga, we’re glad to be back in the civilized world. Were crashing at the Marriott here which is located in the central business district, so we’re within walking distance to everything. The Australians are very friendly and it’s been nice not running into loads of embarrassing American tourists everywhere we go. Asian tourists, though, are in excess supply. We walked the city yesterday and swatted flies until our arms hurt. I took some pics:
